Triad Business Bank Promotes New High Point Market President and Expands Private Banking Team

Morgan Butler will assume new leadership responsibilities in both areas.

GREENSBORO, NC (June 30, 2022) — Triad Business Bank announces the promotion of Morgan Butler to Director of Private Banking and Market President of High Point. Butler will join the team of other market presidents, who work closely with former High Point Market President Leah Price. This promotion will allow Price to expand her leadership responsibilities as President of Commercial Banking for Triad Business Bank. These transitions enhance the bank’s ability to provide big bank expertise, products, and bankers with community bank service.

As Market President of High Point, Butler will assume the responsibility of creating and overseeing a Local Advisory Board, plan strategic projects, coordinate community involvement initiatives, and review of local sponsorship opportunities. “Since most of my career has been with community banks, I am excited to share the experience I have in various areas of banking, including but not limited to business development, community relations, and private banking.” says Butler.

As Director of Private Banking with Triad Business Bank, he has focused on expanding the bank’s private banking department through his commitment to developing relationships with clients beyond transactional business. He will continue to lead the private banking efforts in all current markets while expanding the department with the addition of Toni Goodrich, Pinehurst Market Manager. Goodrich is a longtime Pinehurst, NC, banker who shares Butler’s passion for developing relationships. She will serve the private banking clients in the Pinehurst market but will be based out of the High Point, NC, office with Butler.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Sewanee: The University of the South, Butler entered the banking industry in 2003 and immediately began cultivating authentic relationships in the community. He has been an active member of the YWCA of High Point finance committee since 2017, and he encourages others in the banking field to be involved and invested in the community.

“Morgan has been an asset to Triad Business Bank since 2020, exhibiting strength in leadership in his role since day one. He has proven to be a versatile resource to his fellow associates and clients. I look forward to supporting Morgan in his advancement as a trusted leader of the High Point market and private banking department,” said Robin Hager President and Chief Operating Officer of Triad Business Bank.
